The Jordan and Salt Lake Canal crossing at Arbor Lane was fenced off and closed in July 2026. Salt Lake City Public Utilities, the canal landowner, will sign a trail agreement, but only with Holladay. The City was asked to help preserve access and said no, without telling anyone.
